In response to many of our members wanting to have a quiz. A quiz that was not held in a pub environment, but with more so of a friendly get together 'atmosphere' comprising members and their guests only, Also another important factor being an activity that was held in daylight hours, so that single females, particularly, did not have to drive home in the dark. 

And so the U3A fun quiz was born. Each team comprises a maximum of four quizzers, two of whom can be non-members. Marks are awarded for each correct answer and although there is a winning team each month the points gained are carried forwards to the next session, thus forming a league table. An overall winner points winner then declared after twelve sessions. Each session comprises a rag-bag of 40 questions. Contact Geoff Penn if you would like to join in.
